This piece is a musical adaptation of a modern tale . . . One night a prince and a princess from two far away lands miraculously find themselves trapped in each others dream. They both are aware they are dreaming and find themselves being drawn closer and closer to each other. The two fall in love and dance at a feverish pace all night long. But morning comes all too quickly and they suddenly wake up from the dream, once again in their own lands. The dream slowly fades and is eventually forgotten by them both. Yet the echoes of the music from the dance and the essence of their love for each other, resonate in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
