Bright Spirits was written in memory of the late composer and former Texas Band Director, Robert Geisler. As a composer, Mr. Geisler was known for his very delightful marches. For those who had the privilege of knowing Mr. Geisler, he was always full of humor and kindness. That is the reason for the title of Bright Spirits. This exciting new march should be very light and energetic. The middle section should be very legato and expressive in the melody lines. The last section goes back to a separated style that leads to energetic conclusion.
