With Pride and Dignity is a crisp American style march with a strong melodic concentration, rich harmonies, and busy percussion rhythms from beginning to end. The work was commissioned by the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Region XVI for the Middle School Honors Band, and is dedicated to all the wonderful young band students who desire to excel on their instruments and strive tirelessly for musical excellence.
