Liberty Fanfare was commissioned by and dedicated to the Comfort Wind Ensemble based in Fukuoka, Japan, Mr. Satoru Yoshihara, Conductor. The premiere performance took place on December 18, 2005, in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka, Japan.
