When composing “The Great Escape,” the composer tried to create an exciting work where listeners can envision all types of escapes. The listener can create a visual picture of a criminal trying to escape from behind bars, or maybe somebody trying to escape danger. One may envision the great Magician , Harry Houdini, trying to do one of his death defying escapes. Whatever it may be, this work was composed to allow the listener to create his/her own picture of “The Great Escape.”
