This edition conforms closely to the original Spanish publication which has been out of print for many years due to a disastrous fire at the publisher's warehouse in Madrid. Besides using beautiful melodies and counter-melodies and harmonies in his marches, Lope used large and sudden dynamic changes for dramatic effect.
