Haas, Mark
Mark Haas is a composer, conductor, and arranger for various areas of music including: Concert, Chamber, Sacred, Film, and Television. He holds music composition degrees from Marshall University, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. In 2012, Mark assisted world renowned Maestro John Mauceri in preparations for concerts with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as additional score preparation for performances in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2013, Mark moved to Los Angeles to assist longtime Emmy Award winning composer, W.G. Snuffy Walden. Working alongside Walden, Mark worked as a copyist for Nashville on ABC, and Under the Dome on CBS. Mark is currently a pastoral musician and composer living in South Charleston, WV with his wife Renae and three young children. He continues to write for various mediums including orchestra, wind ensemble, choir, percussion ensemble, and chamber ensemble.
