A refreshing new contribution to the contemporary literature for wind band, Millers Chorale for Band ideally fits the tonal colors of the symphonic band. Unique to this form, the lush, moving chorale section comprising the larger portion of the work, leads into a brilliant fanfare-like coda, bringing the piece to a majestic and uplifting conclusion. Chorale for Band was composed on a commission from the Lebanon Valley College Honors Band, Annville, PA. The piece is accessible by middle school and high school level bands.
