I should have updated the TRN website a few years ago with the sad news that Lennie Niehaus passed away in 2020. He was a prolific composer. He wrote many original compositions for the concert band and orchestra world and was already a well established composer and arranger in the jazz band world. He liked to name many of his pieces after locations such as Thousand Oaks, Dana Point, and Monterey Hills. We miss him.
