Stomp, Clap, Snap Tango!

Stomp, Clap, Snap Tango! is based on traditional rhythms associated with Tango music. Students should try to pay particular attention to the written accents in order to get the most effect of the rhythms. The middle section contains the option to feature the students stomping, clapping and snapping the rhythms, which leads to an exchange between the snare drum and conga reminiscent of the improvisational nature of the Tango dance. Hopefully your students will enjoy this introduction to Latin music and dance.
