Ah . . Great water today, bos'nmate Grayson! "Aye, and it is, Cap'n Niles! Let's hoist the mizzen, whaddayasay?" And our heroes again launch themselves into nature's boiling tempest. This time the "Great Yacht Race for the Royal Canterbury Cup", a prestigious and lofty vision indeed! Our young Yachtsmen have worked diligently perfecting the graceful, yet sharp prow of their sturdy craft. It took a lot of whittling to get the lines just right! And now, the BIG MOMENT IS AT HAND! Hoist the jib, bring up the fore gaff-topsail, heave to on the main-top mast staysail, raise the mainsail... "Whoa, Gray, it looks like somebody's signaling us from shore with semaphores..." "Actually it's Mom waving a dishtowel . . Must be lunch." The Royal Canterbury Cup will have to wait. Our heroes reluctantly pick up their boats, wade out of the mudhole, and hurry up the alley to home. Such is a sailor's life at sea!
