Bray, C. Bruce

C. Bruce Bray was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 18, 1955 and was raised in the small town of Abernathy, located just seventeen miles to the north of Lubbock. He is a composer, teacher, conductor, poet, writer and actor. He is a skilled percussionist, pianist and guitarist. Though he never formally studied composition in school, Mr. Bray has penned several works for band, orchestra and other mediums. He has also written a number of alma maters for schools throughout Central Texas. Town of Abernathy 1909 is his first published work.
