Center Stage March should be played in the march style with an upbeat tempo. Do not slow down the tempo at the trio. Care should be taken to make sure that the countermelody is heard at all times. In measure 50 and 52 the bass drum and cymbal parts should be played loudly. Be sure to follow the tempos after measure 50 to bring the piece to an exciting conclusion.
