Ralph and Jack Hale, brothers from Memphis, Tennessee, have teamed up for a number of years composing works for band.
Ralph Hale was the band director at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN until his retirement. He was a member of the
American Bandmasters Association and other national and state organizations, and was listed in the International Who's Who in
Music. He was in great demand as a clinician and an adjudicator. He was well known for the fine bands he had at the Christian
Brothers High School, for the series of slides he had developed for use in his teaching of rhythmic skills, and for the fine music for
young bands he and his brother Jack had written. Jack Hale is a professional trombonist, composer and arranger residing in
Nashville, TN.
