Christopher Gillespie (b. 1976) received a bachelor of music education degree from the University of Delaware and a master of music education degree from the University of Connecticut. Since 2001, he has taught orchestra and band in Virginia’s public and private schools, specializing in beginner and intermediate level ensembles. Christopher is the founder of the Prince William County Summer Band Camp in Virginia and was head director from 2003-2008. He is also the primary composer and conductor of choirs at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Woodbridge, VA. Not only does he compose for young ensembles, but he has also writes organ music for Bardon Music.
Christopher is a member of MENC, VMEA, and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. He currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Jennifer and two children Aidan and Ava.
