Please wait...Christopher Gillespie (b. 1976), received a bachelor of music education degree from the University of Delaware and a master of music education degree from the University of Connecticut. Since 2001, he has taught orchestra and band in Virginia’s public and private schools, specializing in beginner and intermediate level ensembles. Christopher is the founder of the Prince William County Summer Band Camp in Virginia and was head director from 2003-2008. He is also the primary composer and conductor at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Woodbridge, VA. Not only does he compose for young ensembles, but he has also produced organ music for Bardon Enterprises.
Christopher is a member of MENC, VMEA, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, where he continues to bring the joy of music to the younger generations.
